Ai Goromo – White Koi with a red pattern and the scales are reticulated in dark blue and black
Aka Bekko – Red Koi with black markings like the black markings of a Sanke
Aka Hajiro – Red Koi with White tipped fins
Aka Matsuba - Dark red Koi with black reticulation to the scales
Aka Sanke – Same as Sanke but with a large unbroken red pattern
Asagi – Blue scales above the lateral line with red on fins and lower flanks
Bekko – White Koi with black markings like Sanke black markings
Benigoi – Dark orange colour covering the body and head with possible white edges to fins
Beni Kujaku – Metallic white colour with red pattern and matsuba scales
Beni Kumonryu – Black Koi with some red on the head, fins and body
Budo Goromo – White Koi with black/purple grape like markings over red
Chagoi – Brown coloured Koi
Doitsu Harawaki – Platinum coloured Koi with a gold or yellow pattern
Gin Bekko – Cross between a Shiro Bekko and Platinum Ogon
Gin Shiro – Metallic Shiro Utsuri with black colour and white pattern
Goshiki – Five coloured Koi with red, white, light blue, dark blue and black
Hageshiro – Black Koi with white on head and white tipped pectoral fins
Hajiro – Black Koi with white tipped caudal and pectoral fins
Hana Shushi – Red pattern on upper and lower flanks
Hariwake – Platinum coloured Koi with a gold or yellow pattern
Hi Asagi – Scaled Koi with red upper and lower flanks reaching almost to dorsal fin
Higoi – Red coloured Koi
Hi Showa – Mainly a red pattern when viewed from above
Hi Shusui – Doitsu Koi with red upper and lower flanks reaching almost to dorsal fin
Hi Utsuri – Black Koi with red or orange markings
Karasugoi – Non metallic black Koi with black fins and a red/orange or white belly
Ki Bekko - Yellow Koi with black markings like the black markings of the Sanke
Kigoi – Mustard yellow coloured Koi
Kikokuryu – Metallic Kumonryu
Kikusui – Doitsu platinum Koi with orange markings either side of dorsal fin higher than lateral line
Ki Matsuba – Yellow Koi with black reticulation to scales
